About The Peak
The Peak is about a project that was born from our passion for traveling, discovering and meeting new cultures.
During our travels we realized that only by interacting with the locals and experiencing their lifestyle we could truly get to know about different cultures, get to be involved in the communities and often fall in love with them. After a few miles travelled, many ridden waves and unexpected friendships, we felt that now is our time to share everything our home has to offer. The Peak is a place characterized for its energy, where the best waves take form, it is the highest point of the mountain, and it is where everyone wants to reach. The Peak is the place to be and we want to share this journey with you!
Our Story
This is us, Diogo and Duarte, two brothers always seeking new adventures, discovering new places, searching for off the beaten path waves, and loving to meet new cultures and friends. We now want to share and explore with you the best that our hometown – Sintra – can offer. Plenty waves, sunsets, hikes and smiles to experience! Sintra is calling!

Founder & Surf Coach
Diogo. Misty Sintra and its magic made him move from the city to the countryside, inspired him to create the concept of the house from scratch. Diogo will make sure you guys have an authentic experience.
Founder & Surf Coach
Duarte, driven by the signs of nature, decided to give up his former job to give wings to The Peak House project. Duarte loves to travel and meet new people all over the world.
House Manager
Mariana, our globetrotter, has literally discovered that there is no place like home. Mariana´s talent as a photographer and her passion for nature will bring creativity to the house. Mariana is our house manager!
Surf Coach
Nic, his passion and experience with the ocean, competing professionally worldwide, makes him the best at what he does. Nic is the best at having fun in the water.
Ioga Instructor
Maria, her connection to Nature, made her travel to India for an immersive experience as a Yoga teacher.
Climbing & Boulder Instructor
Ricardo, is our climbing mentor! He knows the mountain better than anyone – more than 20 years dedicated to explore and discover about new ways and secret rocks to climb within Sintra Mountain.
